In 2014, fossil fuel energy consumption for Albania was 61.4 %. Between 2005 and 2014, fossil fuel energy consumption in Albania was decreasing on average by 0.58% each year, although before that, it grew from 41.4 % in 1997 to 66.5 % in 2005.
