Total area under agricultural crops

Aran is the top region by total area under agricultural crops in Azerbaijan. As of 2012, total area under agricultural crops in Aran was 681,107 hectares that accounts for 41.35% of Azerbaijan's total area under agricultural crops. The top 5 regions (others are Shaki-Zagatala, Ganja-Gazakh, Yukhari Karabakh, and Guba-Khachmaz) account for 81.24% of it. Azerbaijan's total total area under agricultural crops was estimated at 1.65 million hectares in 2012.
