Number of pensioners

Baku city is the top region by number of pensioners in Azerbaijan. As of 2013, number of pensioners in Baku city was 336,077 that accounts for 26.42% of Azerbaijan's number of pensioners. The top 5 regions (others are Aran, Ganja-Gazakh, Lankaran, and Shaki-Zagatala) account for 75.92% of it. Azerbaijan's total number of pensioners was estimated at 1.27 million in 2013.
