In 2012, quantity of municipal waste collected for Cambodia was 461 thousand tonnes. Between 2009 and 2012, quantity of municipal waste collected of Cambodia grew substantially from 355 to 461 thousand tonnes rising at an increasing annual rate that reached a maximum of 12.99% in 2012.
