In 2020, industrial water withdrawal as a share of internal resources for Iceland was 71.15 %. Between 2016 and 2020, industrial water withdrawal as a share of internal resources in Iceland was decreasing on average by 0.09% each year, although before that, it grew from 8.48 % in 2002 to 76.15 % in 2016.
