In 2020, water productivity for India was 3.9 US dollars per cubic meter. Between 2001 and 2020, water productivity of India grew substantially from 1.3 to 3.9 US dollars per cubic meter rising at an increasing annual rate that reached a maximum of 13.16% in 2004 and then decreased to -5.83% in 2020.
