In 2012, quantity of municipal waste collected for Lebanon was 1,940 thousand tonnes. Between 2001 and 2012, quantity of municipal waste collected of Lebanon grew substantially from 1,438 to 1,940 thousand tonnes rising at an increasing annual rate that reached a maximum of 12.79% in 2012.
