Johor is the top region by number of non-muslim marriages in Malaysia. As of 2016, number of non-muslim marriages in Johor was 8,728 that accounts for 15.40% of Malaysia's number of non-muslim marriages. The top 5 regions (others are Kuala Lumpur, Sarawak, Selangor, and Perak) account for 65.34% of it. Malaysia's total number of non-muslim marriages was estimated at 56,691 in 2016.
