Selangor is the top region by trade in manufacturing in Malaysia. As of 2012, trade in manufacturing in Selangor was 55,498 million RM that accounts for 29.72% of Malaysia's trade in manufacturing. The top 5 regions (others are Pulau Pinang, Johor, Sarawak, and Negeri Sembilan) account for 73.38% of it. Malaysia's total trade in manufacturing was estimated at 186,750 million RM in 2012.
