In 2016, quantity of municipal waste collected for Palestine was 1,698.58 thousand tonnes. Between 2002 and 2016, quantity of municipal waste collected of Palestine grew substantially from 1,133 to 1,698.58 thousand tonnes rising at an increasing annual rate that reached a maximum of 3.07% in 2012 and then decreased to 2.89% in 2016.
