Area under Pasture

Mainland is the top region by area under pasture in the United Republic of Tanzania. As of 2012, area under pasture in Mainland was 876,018 ha that accounts for 49.99% of the United Republic of Tanzania's area under pasture. The top 5 regions (others are Shinyanga Region, Tabora Region, Manyara Region, and Singida Region) account for 82.41% of it. The United Republic of Tanzania's total area under pasture was estimated at 1.75 million ha in 2012.
