Central Statistical Organisation Yemen

Central Statistical Organisation of Yemen (CSO) is the only government institution responsible for collecting, processing, disseminating and publishing statistical data and information. It gives the official statistical figures representing status of the Republic. It is responsible for implementing the statistical processes and collecting data of various types and levels, and it implements many of general censuses and statistical surveys. It has several publications, censuses and surveys, it publishes statistical yearbook annually which includes the latest statistics and indicators. The most important goal of CSO is creating a unified and comprehensive statistical system for the Republic of Yemen which keeps pace with the developments in the different aspects of life, unification of the criteria, concepts, definitions and terms and developing the statistical system as a tool of planning and development in every field.
