The Energy Research Office, Brazil

The Energy Research Office (EPE in its Portuguese acronym) aims at supporting the Brazilian Ministry of Mines and Energy (MME) energy policies with studies and research on energy planning covering electricity, oil, natural gas and its derivatives and biofuels. Our studies cover the areas of engineering, economics, modeling, policy and environment and where they overlap.

      Electricity Consumption by Class (regions and subsystems) The Energy Research Company - EPE makes available in the attached file the monthly history, from 2004 to 2018, of electricity consumption at national, regional and subsystem levels, segmented by residential, industrial, commercial and other classes (rural, utility public lighting and street lighting). The data are updated by the Superintendency of Economic and Energy Studies - SEE of the Directorate of Economic-Energy and Environmental Studies - DEA.
