Domestic Energy Switching Statistics: Transfer statistics: Transfer statistics refer to the number of customers switching from one energy supplier to another.For electricity and gas (from January 2014) this includes all suppliers. Previous to this gas transfers only covered the main six suppliers. Great Britain:The figures in this dataset do not include data on switching rates in Northern Ireland. At present , the electricity market in Northern Ireland is largely monopolistic and subject to Ofreg price controls, although a start has been made to open the market to competition.
