Institute of Public Security

The Institute of Public Security (ISP), created by Law 3,329, of December 28, 1999 - is an autarchy linked directly to the State Secretariat of Public Security (SESEG). With 18 years of existence, the ISP has great knowledge accumulated in the development of data analysis methodologies related to Public Security. Its mission is to produce information and disseminate research and analysis in order to influence and subsidize the implementation of public security policies and ensure social participation in the construction of these policies.
