National Institute of Statistics, Cameroon

NIS is a public administrative establishment created in April 20, 2001. It is placed under the technical supervision of the ministry in charge of statistics. It has legal personality and financial autonomy. Its headquarters are located in Yaoundé, the political capital of Cameroon.

      In the third quarter of 2022, industrial producer prices rose by 13.6% compared to the third quarter of 2021. This change was mainly driven by the extractive industries (24.3%), the metallurgy and metal manufacturing industries. metal works (21.6%), mineral materials manufacturing industries (16.3%) and agri-food industries (13.8%).
