Statistics Finland (Finnish: Tilastokeskus, Swedish: Statistikcentralen) is the national statistical institution in Finland, established in 1865 to serve as an information service and to provide statistics and expertise in the statistical sciences. The institution employs more than 1,000 experts from varying fields.

The point figure of the base period is usually denoted by the number hundred. For example, if the point figure of the commodity is 105.3 in a certain period, it means that the price of the commodity has risen by 5.3 per cent from the base period. Index of Producer Prices of Agricultural Products monthly change (2015=100) Monthly change is the relative change in the index from a time period one month earlier. The change is usually expressed as a percentage. Index of Producer Prices of Agricultural Products yearly change (2015=100) Annual change is the relative change of the index in comparison with the corresponding time period one year ago (e.g. annual change of total index of consumer prices, i.e. inflation).
