Statistics Finland

Statistics Finland (Finnish: Tilastokeskus, Swedish: Statistikcentralen) is the national statistical institution in Finland, established in 1865 to serve as an information service and to provide statistics and expertise in the statistical sciences. The institution employs more than 1,000 experts from varying fields.

Price monitoring was terminated in December 2011. The average price for the year weighted by monthly sales volumes. The price of light fuel oil €/MWh is calculated until December 2008 with the coefficient 11.78 MWh/t and after that with the coefficient 11.86 MWh/t, density 0.845. The price of heavy fuel oil €/MWh is calculated with the coefficient 11.42 MWh/t.
