In 2016, real exports in Gambia was 167 million US dollars. In the ranking by real exports including 196 countries, Gambia has the 65th rank that is close to the positions of such countries as Gabon and the Georgia. Compared to Afghanistan which at the top of the ranking with real exports of 511 million US dollars in 2016, Gambia has 67.29 % percent lower real exports.

What is real exports?

Exports of goods and services consist of sales, barter, or gifts or grants, of goods and services from residents to non-residents. The treatment of exports and imports in the SNA is generally identical with that in the balance of payments accounts as described in the Balance of Payments Manual.
