Singapore is the top country by use of nitrogen in the world. As of 2013, use of nitrogen in Singapore was 2,347.76 tonnes that accounts for 25.12% of the world's use of nitrogen. The top 5 countries (others are Qatar, Hong Kong, Egypt, and Malta) account for 52.49% of it. The world's total use of nitrogen was estimated at 9,346.02 tonnes in 2013.
