Area under Natural Bush

Mainland is the top region by area under natural bush in the United Republic of Tanzania. As of 2012, area under natural bush in Mainland was 449,650 ha that accounts for 49.95% of the United Republic of Tanzania's area under natural bush. The top 5 regions (others are Tabora Region, Ruvuma Region, Shinyanga Region, and Rukwa Region) account for 81.45% of it. The United Republic of Tanzania's total area under natural bush was estimated at 900,154 ha in 2012.
