In 2011, households having access to drinking water for Meghalaya was 44.7 %. Between 1991 and 2011, households having access to drinking water of Meghalaya grew substantially from 36.2 to 44.7 % rising at an increasing annual rate that reached a maximum of 14.62% in 2011.
