Forest Land Area

Kanchanaburi Province is the top region by forest land area in Thailand. As of 2011, forest land area in Kanchanaburi Province was 12,285.07 sq. km that accounts for 40.60% of Thailand's forest land area. The top 5 regions (others are Phetchaburi Province, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province, Chanthaburi Province, and Ratchaburi Province) account for 71.72% of it. Thailand's total forest land area was estimated at 30,260.27 sq. km in 2011.
