Urban Population

Pyongyang is the top region by urban population in Democratic People's Republic of Korea. As of 2008, urban population in Pyongyang was 2.82 million persons that accounts for 19.73% of Democratic People's Republic of Korea's urban population. The top 5 regions (others are South Pyongan, South Hamgyong, North Hamgyong, and North Pyongan) account for 72.25% of it. Democratic People's Republic of Korea's total urban population was estimated at 14.3 million persons in 2008.
