The Office of the President of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) was organizing a high-level thematic debate on ‘Integrating Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice in the Post-2015 Development Agenda'. The debate aimed to discuss the linkages between crime prevention, criminal justice and sustainable development within the context of the post-2015 agenda. The debate considered how to address social and economic challenges and promote sustainable development through strengthening crime prevention and criminal justice systems, norms and standards while also addressed threats that undermine them, such as illicit trafficking and corruption. The debate included an opening session and two panel discussions, and resulted in a President's summary.
