Pakistan has the sixth largest population in the world and the second largest population in South Asia of 197 million persons as of 2017. Pakistan's economy is growing at an accelerating pace over the last four years and in 2018, real GDP growth is expected to reach 10-years high of 5.57 percent. Services is the major part of Pakistan's economy accounting for 56 percent of GDP in 2016. Among economic activities, agriculture represents the most significant part of country's gross value added. Top export markets of Pakistan are the United States, China, and the United Kingdom together constituting one-third of country's total export in 2016. Pakistan's most exported commodities are textiles, clothing, leather articles, as well as cereals. China, UAE, and Indonesia are the main sources of imports to the country.
