The Global Social Protection and Jobs Core Courses comprise three parallel courses on:
1) Social Safety Nets,
2) Pensions, and
3) Jobs and Migration.

The Global Social Protection and Jobs Core Courses will be held from April 30 till May 11, 2018 in the World Bank, Washington D.C. (HQ).

The two-week Core Courses will provide an in-depth understanding of the conceptual and practical issues involved in the development of programs on social assistance, social safety nets, pensions, social security, jobs and migration. The Core Courses will focus on capacity building through hands-on training and business development. The participants will have an opportunity to learn from each other, share their knowledge and experience, present and discuss challenging issues from their own countries, and work together on new solutions. 

Each course is offered at the subsidized rate of US$2,500 per participant from international organizations, donor agencies, private entities and others. Payment of tuition fee is required for participation in the course. The fee includes tuition, training materials, and other conference costs. Participants will be responsible for their own transportation to and from Washington, D.C., as well as their hotel and subsistence costs.
