Sheep and goats

Aran is the top region by sheep and goats in Azerbaijan. As of 2012, sheep and goats in Aran was 2.53 million heads that accounts for 30.06% of Azerbaijan's sheep and goats. The top 5 regions (others are Ganja-Gazakh, Shaki-Zagatala, Dakhlik Shirvan, and Nakhchivan) account for 77.73% of it. Azerbaijan's total sheep and goats was estimated at 8.42 million heads in 2012.
