International reserves of Rwanda increased from 439 million US dollars in 2006 to 1,029 million US dollars in 2015 growing at an average annual rate of 11.11 %.

According to the IMF definition, international reserves consist of the sum of the country’s foreign exchange, its reserve position in the IMF, its monetary gold reserves, and the United States dollar value of SDR holdings by its monetary authorities.
