Area Unusable

Mainland is the top region by area unusable in the United Republic of Tanzania. As of 2012, area unusable in Mainland was 167,828 ha that accounts for 49.92% of the United Republic of Tanzania's area unusable. The top 5 regions (others are Iringa Region, Shinyanga Region, Rukwa Region, and Tabora Region) account for 70.42% of it. The United Republic of Tanzania's total area unusable was estimated at 336,169 ha in 2012.
