National Statistics Institute, Cabo Verde

NSI is the central executive body of production and dissemination of official statistics within the National Statistical System, with technically independent authority with administrative, financial and patrimonial autonomy, in accordance with its statutes.

      Data cited at: https://caboverde.opendataforafrica.org/jvspgtg The statistics on Governance, Peace and Security (GPS) come from the compilation of administrative statistics on justice and security from the Ministry of Internal Administration, the Superior Council for the Judiciary and the Superior Council of the Public Prosecutor's Office, and the survey of families with based on the GPS module incorporated in the IMC, whose objectives are to gather information to diagnose globally the state of peace and security in the country, and to contribute relevant information for the improvement of the actions of the rulers with respect to the prevention and management of conflicts, transparency and control of corruption, and capture the nature and level of participation of citizens.
