Two different coal grading systems have been used in India in recent years - Useful Heat Value (or UHV) and Gross Calorific Value (GCV). Coal India Limited (CIL) switched from UHV-based pricing to GCV-based pricing in 2012. Offtake of coal to Andhra Pradesh and Telangana is listed against the combined state of Andhra Pradesh during the years 2006-2014. The offtake is split between the two states in 2015.
