  • WAVE I: China peaked first along with Japan and South Korea.
  • WAVE II: Since the end of April, the daily number of cases has been declining in Europe and US, the sources of the second wave.
  • WAVE III: By early May, the COVID-19 pandemic covered the remaining areas of Asia and Latin America, with aggressive lockdowns sparing some countries the worst so far, including in Colombia.
